FAMOUS DUTCH DAM LINES DEFINE BORCULO DRESSAGE FOAL COLLECTION

A talent for dressage is everywhere in the new Elite Auction Borculo foal collection. On Thursday 30th August, a total of 70 dressage foals exceptional in model as well as movement will be auctioned at PSC Lichtenvoorde in Vragender. For sure it’s the genetic background of these eye-catchers that forms the basis of these traits. The foals symbolise the power of Dutch dressage breeding, which is so closely connected to Elite Foal Auction Borculo.

 

Naturally, this foal collection bears the signature of the best contemporary sires with outstanding names as Vitalis (4x), For Romance (4x), Totilas (3x), Glock’s Toto Jr. (3x), Expression (3x), Franklin (3x), Dream Boy (2x), Zonik (2x), Rubin Royal (2x), Revolution (2x), Jerveaux (2x), Just Wimphof (2x), De Niro, Desperados, Governor and Iconic B.

 

Four foals from Endy’s offspring

Many of these proven breeding stallions and young talent have been combined with the best Dutch dam lines. One line is even represented by four of the selected foals. They descend from the legendary Ulft daughter Endy, one of the absolute gems in Dutch dressage breeding. Her (grand)children have already made a name for themselves at Elite Auction Borculo, with examples like the stallions Zuidenwind (Rose Mathisen) and Blue Hors Edelman. This year the honour goes to Norah Endy P, Noblesse P, Nordic ES and Noche P, and the influence of their dam line on the collection is even bigger.

 

Norah Endy P (by Blue Hors St. Schufro) is a daughter of Borendy (by Painted Black). This granddaughter of Endy has already produced the approved Fürst Jazz, who is successful under Diederik van Silfhout and who has also sired the currently selected foal Next Jazz, out of a Houston mare.

Noblesse P (by Vitalis) is a daughter of Capri P (by Florencio), also a granddaughter of Endy and a stallion dam too. Capri, who scored 88.5 points in her mare performance test, is KWPN stallion Grenoble’s dam.

Another genetic gem is Nordic ES, also by Vitalis. This colt’s dam is the remarkable Tiamo, again one of Endy’s granddaughters. Only four-year-old Tiamo is a direct daughter of the illustrious Ferro and a half-sister to the well-known stallion Charmeur (Madeleine Witte-Vrees).

And last but not least there is Noche P, who has Endy in the fourth generation on the sire side as well as the dam side. Dam Gwendy P (by United) is a daughter of the mentioned Borendy and sire High Five U.S. is a son of Charmeur.

 

Other famous dams

A lot of promising elements gather in High Five U.S. As a foal he was himself auctioned in Borculo and with No Mercy, out of a Wynton dam, he adds more offspring of his own to the collection. We also find High Five U.S.’s dam line with the selected colt Ni Vini Vici (by Vivaldi). This is the well-known Murona line. Like Endy, she is one of the famous matriarchs on the impressive list that is represented in Vragender on 30th August. Names like Charites, Corieta, Lola-G, Butopia and Warmante will be starring there too, inviting you to make further acquaintance with this exceptional collection of foals.
