BORCULO ONLINE FOAL AUCTION: FIRST DRESSAGE FOALS SELECTED

With one month ahead for the première of the Borculo Online Foal Auction, the first dressage foals have now been selected. As can be expected of the Borculo Foal Auction organisation, we are talking here about true high-quality foals. They are all genetically interesting, have an appealing model and convincing movements. We gladly lift a corner of the veil and introduce the two selected colts.

The first one is by the talented German stallion Escolar (s. Estobar NRW, photo), who had a winning debut at international Grand Prix level at the end of 2018. Together with Hubertus Schmidt the popular breeding stallion scored over 75%. The second colt is an offspring by For Romance II (s. Fürst Romancier), the very appealing and wonderfully bred Oldenburg stallion.

‘Interesting stallion prospects’

Dressage selector Linda van Doorn adds: ‘The foals selected are all genetically very strong. The son of For Romance II is out of an elite mare by De Niro x Lauries Crusador xx. He is a real eye catcher! A long lined foal with a lot of blood and expression. The young Escolar descends from a state premium mare by Belissimo M, who herself has been selected for the elite mare inspection in Rastede. This foal was born in February and is a real powerhouse, with convincing gaits. Both foals are true stallion prospects!

The first edition of the Borculo Online Foal Auction runs from Friday, April 26 till Monday, April 29 2019. With this new auction, you can buy Borculo-quality foals completely online. The collection offered will consists around ten genetically high-quality dressage and jumping foals. We will keep you posted about the foals selected!
