‘BORCULO STALLIONS’ MY TOUCH AND MON AMI TO THE KWPN STALLION SHOW

Dec 12, 2019

During the KWPN stallion approval’s first viewing two striking stallions, that have been sold at the 2017 edition of the Borculo Elite Foal Auction, received a ticket for the 2020 KWPN Stallion Show at ’s-Hertogenbosch second viewing. The appointment of My Touch and Mon Ami (picture above) to the second viewing means that our auction is represented in both the jumping and dressage discipline.

The 2.5-year-old My Touch (breeder T. Goumans Hermus) is a descendant of the excellent progenitor Untouchable and bred out of the dam Charavola (by Ahorn). This very interesting mare jumped at the heighest amateur level, already produced two internationally jumpig horses and is a full sister to Makavoy’s dam. This former CSI5* top horse of Canadian Ben Asselin belongs, just like Untouchable, to one of the most successful offspring of Hors la Loi II.

Franklin son Mon Ami

During the first viewing in Ermelo the almost three-year-old Mon Ami (breeder TB Hassink) showed himself a worthy representative of the remarkable stallion Franklin, himself champion of the KWPN Stallion Show in 2013. Mon Ami’s dam Gadette did a strong IBOP mare performance test, including four times the mark 8, among others for trot. Granddam Nadette has already produced several successful dressage horses.

So we will see both My Touch and Mon Ami again during the KWPN Stallion Show, which is scheduled from Wednesday 29 January to Saturday 1 February in the Brabanthallen at ‘s-Hertogenbosch. We wish breeders and owners of these wonderful talents the best of luck!
