DIVERSE AND EXCLUSIVE SELECTION OF JUMPER FOALS AT SOESTDIJK PALACE

A varied selection, exceptional quality and once again damlines that are brimming with sports performance. The selection committee jumping of Elite Foal Auction Borculo succeeded in assembling an excellent collection for the auction on Friday the 15th of September. The entire selection of jumper foals can now be viewed online.
“We have set the bar high this year. In our search we are looking for the total package, a correct conformation, good model, presence and a solid pedigree. We also like foals that are bred out of damlines packed with sports performance. Being a Dutch auction we want to offer the best foals on the Dutch market. We also added a few foals from Belgium and Germany from widely acclaimed lineages, but we are vigilant to maintain our own unique identity. That makes the selection a bit more difficult at times, but we succeeded. I am very pleased with this collection”, says Floris van Leuken, who selected the jumper foals together with Jos Swinkels and Henk van den Broek.
Thirty sires
The jumper collection comprises 37 foals. “We offer a highly varied selection. We have selected foals from no fewer than thirty different stallions. That is truly unique. It’s also how we continue to distinguish ourselves as an auction. I am very proud of that. I am looking forward to the auction. You cannot match that live experience. Especially in such a fantastic setting as the Soestdijk Palace!”
Abundant sports performance
The collection features many foals originating from damlines brimming with international sports achievements. “I am thrilled we may auction El Paso de Muze; a colt by Elvis ter Putte x Nabab de Rêve. His dam, Kentucky Gold de Muze, is a full sister of the 1.60m horse Nimrod de Muze and the 1.50m horse Kirby de Muze.” Another eye-catcher bred out of a fantastic sports lineage is the colt Gangster Z (Grandorado x Carentino). Dam Butterfly jumped at international 1.40m level and is the full sister of the Grand Prix showjumpers Caldato and Concordija. “Another great foal is Extremo Key SR (Emerald x Malito van de Reve).” Granddam Oryzon van het Schaeck performed at 1.50m level and her great-granddam J’adore van het Schaeck jumped international 1.60m courses.
“Another exlcusive foal is the Mr. Blue-filly My Star RW. She originates from an accomplished lineage.” Crush van het Schuttershof (Catoki x Mr. Blue) is also coming under the hammer in September. Her granddam Narcotique Schuttershof produced the approved stallions Ducati van Schuttershof and Edison van Schuttershof, both competed at 1.55m level.
Another exceptional addition to the collection is Tatsumi Rwh (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Kannan). His half-brother Grumpy de la Roque (s.Elvis ter Putte) is competing in the international 1.45m classes. The full sister of his dam, MoM’s Toupie de la Roque, performs at the highest level under Pieter Devos.

The collection furthermore includes offspring of Chacco Blue, Conthargos, Denzel van het Meulenhof and Comme Il Faut. A few young sires are also given a chance in the auction. “We stand behind all our foals. Each and every one of them is interesting and Borculo-worthy”, concludes Van Leuken.
