Elite Foal Auction Borculo is organising a live auction again! Save Friday the 15th of September in your calendar to join us at the Soestdijk Palace. Today, the organisation launches the collection with 86 fantastic jumper and dressage foals. Browse the entire collection here.
It was Elite Foal Auction Borculo’s wish to organise a live auction again. “I think there is a need for it too. I have heard very positive reactions from breeders and buyers as well. Personally, I am a big fan of live auctions anyway. You cannot match that live experience. Especially in such an incredible setting that is the Soestdijk Palace. On top of that, we have entered into a unique partnership with Royal Polo at the Palace this year. It will certainly be a memorable event. My expectations are sky-high”, beams Floris van Leuken, who selected the jumping foals together with Jos Swinkels and Henk van den Broek.
Varied jumper selection
The collection boasts a varied jumper selection. “We have 37 foals from no fewer than thirty different sires. I am very proud of that accomplishment. In addition, we have many foals out of dam lines with international sports results. For example, the colt El Paso de Muze (Elvis ter Putte x Nabab de Rêve).” Dam Kentucky Gold de Muze (s.Nabab de Rêve) is the full sister of the 1.60m horse Nimrod de Muze and the 1.50m jumper Kirby de Muze. The colt Gangster Z (Grandorado x Carentino) was also bred out of a first-rate performance lineage. Dam Butterfly jumped at international 1.40m level and is the full sister of the Grand Prix jumpers Caldato and Concordija. The collection furthermore comprises foals of top sires such as Chacco Blue, Catoki, Conthargos, Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve, Emerald, Mr. Blue and Comme Il Faut.

Strong dressage collection
Elite Foal Auction Borculo is renowned to select the best foals bred on Dutch soil. Dressage enthusiasts can indulge themselves once again this year. The dressage selection team, comprised of Nol Gerritsen and Wouter Plaizier, received many enthusiastic responses during the video days. “We have a fantastic collection. Each and every one of these foals is interesting and bred out of a successful sports lineage, plus we have a lot of genetic diversity in this selection”, says Wouter Plaizier.
Anyone with a long-cherished dream of acquiring a sibling of an approved stallion, has come to right place at Elite Foal Auction Borculo. The KWPN-approved stallion Next Romancier is the half-brother of Top Notch (Total McLaren x San Amour). Another eye-catcher in the collection is Topaas (Dutch Dream x Tango). It is rare to come across such excellent movements in a foal. Granddam Zwingly (s.Clint Eastwood) already produced two international dressage horses.
49 dressage foals will fall under the gavel in the auction. “Sired by stallions such as Extreme U.S., For Ferrero, Blue Hors Santiano, Miami Turfhorst, Glamourdale, McLaren, Indian Rock, O’Toto van de Wimphof, Las Vegas, Kjento, Le Formidable and Vitalos.”
