FORMER BORCULO FOALS KYTON PLATINUM AND LIBORIO APPROVED AT RESPECTIVELY KWPN AND OLDENBURG

Nov 25, 2018

In only one weekend several top results could be noted for the Elite Foal Auction Borculo! During the final presentation of the KWPN performance test in Ermelo it was first of all the three-year-old Kyton Platinum (photo, Ferguson x Ferro) who earned his breeding license at the KWPN. The stallion who has been auctioned in 2015 gained 80.5 points, with only 8s for his gaits and a fantastic 9 for rideability and mentality. This last figure was also expressed in the final report that stated: 'Kyton Platinum is an honest, reliable and rider-focused stallion with a very good mentality. The stallion has a lot of willingness to work and distinguishes himself through his high degree of rideability.'

This great result is for certain a reward for Willem Goesten, who bred the brand new KWPN stallion out of his top dam Wilbria, and it means also a big congrats to owner Titan Wilaras of the Platinum Stables in Riel.

Kyton Platinum is one of the five former Borculo foals that were appointed at the latest KWPN Stallion Show for the performance test in the dressage direction. Kremlin MD (by Governor) was even crowned as champion and got approved in Denmark shortly after the stallion show. Later also King de Niro (by De Niro) earned an approval at the KWPN performance test in Spring.

Successes 2016 and 2017 collection

Very special is that after this weekend the first Borculo foal out of the 2016 collection has also received an approval. During the stallion inspection of the Oldenburger Verband in Vechta a positive judgment sounded for 2.5 year old Liborio (Jazz x Ampère). After the stallion show, the strong moving Liborio was auctioned for the second time in his short existence and came into German hands. Liborio's breeder Statement Horses had also a striking half-sister of 'their' licensed stallion during the last edition of the Elite auction Borculo. This Naluciënne STMT (by Quantensprung) was sold to Dubai for € 19,000.

And as if it were not enough, our 2017-collection came to the attention too during the Oldenburg stallion inspection. One of the absolute eyecatchers in jumping turned out to be For Treasure VDL (For Pleasure x Carthago Z). This cracking stallion of the VDL Stud earned the title 'second reserve winner'. In 2017 we auctioned his full sister More Pleasure for € 15,000!
