FROM BORCULO-EMBRYO TO LICENSED STALLION: QUICKTHAGO VDL

Nov 22, 2017

Investing in embryos pays off. This proves Quickthago VDL. The son of Quickly de Kreisker x Numero Uno x Capitol I was auctioned as embryo at Foal Auction Borculo and achieved the licensing by the Oldenburger Verband last week.

The then nameless Quickthago VDL was brought in by breeder Ton Vullers and sold for 11,000 euros to Benny Wezenberg, who later sold the stallion to VDL Stud.

The granddam of the stallion is A-Cover Girl, who jumped at 1.50m level and is a full sister of the famous Carthago Z. A-Cover Girl already produced several sport horses including the 1.60m showjumping horse Lactic and 1.45m showjumper Zatascha N. Dam Winning Girl also produced the licensed stallion, Gylord Carthago, who is currently jumping at 1.40m level.
