The dressage night kicked off the auction in a spectacular manner, averaging nearly 14.000 euro. And tonight, the jumper foals proved their worth. The 38 foals were sold for an average price of 13.300 euros. An incredible average selling price of which the organisation is rightly proud.
Exceeds all expectations
“This is a result we would have happily signed off for prior to the auction. It exceeds all expectations. We knew we had a strong collection, but then it’s about having customers as an auction”, says Pieter Jan Berkers. The buyers were clearly present tonight and came from all parts of the world. From early on, there was a huge interest in the foals, even before the auction closed a number of foals already hit a top price.
Winner of the night
The absolute winner of the night was Catousha Key SR Z. For 45.000 euros this filly heads to the United States. The daughter of Catoki out of the damline of Usha van ‘t Roosakker could count on many international candidates. Eventually it was the Americans that placed the winning bid.
Colour in demand
Among the early closing lots was the skewbald filly Royal Zovjet Grandia, a daughter of Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve, a sensation. Clients from Switzerland welcome her for 31.000 euros.
Wide range of top prices
The charming Rogliç (s.Conthargos) found new owners in Hungary for 25.000 euros. For 1000 euro less, the wildcard Aranix Rising was sold and he remains, as one of the few foals, in the Netherlands. Tarcotique KCX Z (s.Taloubet Z) is a remarkably bred filly that was sold to Italy for 21.000 euros. Similar to the dressage auction, there was a broad top in the quality. The collection not only distinguished itself in excellent sport in the damline; the foals furthermore possessed outstanding models, an example is Amira S.Z. (s.Aganix du Seigneur). She also moves to Switzerland for 17.000 euros.
