HALF-BROTHER OF SELECTED FILLY BY BALOU DU ROUET WINS GRAND PRIX OF CSI TWENTE!

Jun 18, 2018

The Grand Prix of CSI Twente showed once more that our collection jumping foals has a strong link with the current top sport. Just two horses stayed clear in the very difficult first round of this 1.60m class and only winner Chic Hin D Hyrencourt and his Italian rider Antonio Alfonso (picture) were able to repeat this result in the jump-off.

The same Chic Hin is a half-brother of the filly by Balou du Rouet that has been selected for our auction, as both of them are descendants of the top dam Linotte de Sohan (s. Elanville). Linotte herself jumped at 1.45m level and produced several approved stallions and seven horses qualified at international level, of which two at 1.60m, one at 1.55m and one at 1.50m level! Her mother Femke P is also an extremely good broodmare. This mare by Voltaire produced even twelve international jumping horses. Four of them performed at 1.60m level, including Kalita de Sohan, full brother of Linotte.

Grand Prix genes

Chic Hin D Hyrencourt didn’t hide his origin at CSI Twente and they same will apply for his half-sister, bred by Eijkhof Stable in Roggel, the Netherlands. This filly by Balou du Rouet symbolizes the quality of our collection, which more than ever is gifted with proven Grand Prix genes. In short notice we will announce the full collection jumping foals and on Wednesday 29th of August we will auction this special selection at Paardensportcentrum Lichtenvoorde in Vragender. On Thursday the high-quality collection of dressage foals will come under the hammer.
