Elite Foal Auction Borculo is on the verge of take-off. Friday September 15, the Soestdijk Palace forms the dramatic backdrop of the live auction. The members of the selection committees dressage and jumping are ready to help potential buyers find their perfect match.
A diverse collection, exceptional quality and ample sport results in the damline. The 85 best foals of the Netherlands are to descend on the Soestdijk Palace. 37 jumper foals sired by no less than thirty different stallions will come under the hammer. The list features offspring of top sires such as Elvis ter Putte, Grandorado, Chacco Blue, Catoki, Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve, Emerald, Mr. Blue and Comme Il Faut. The 48 dressage foals represent stallions such as Dutch Dream, Extreme U.S., For Ferrero, Blue Hors Santiano, Miami Turfhorst, Glamoudale, McLaren, Indian Rock, O’Toto van de Wimphof and Las Vegas. The selection committees gladly answer any questions from prospective buyers. “If you are interested in buying a foal and are not sure yet which one would suit your desires, the organisation is happy to assist. They can provide more information and give advice. “We try to find a fair match and bring the right people together”, explains Annelou de Man on behalf of the organisation. The website now features a chat tool. “Feel free to use it anytime you have questions about the foals.”

We aim to give our buyers total peace of mind. Have you never purchased a foal at an auction before? No worries, our service is free of charge, and we are happy to help. Plus, it is no one-size-fits-all approach. For each customer I check what feels right to them and what they need. One of our services is a tailored insurance. Would you like to insure your foal right from delivery? That’s possible! The inspectors of EFO Horse Insurance are present during the auction and can draw up a customized insurance package.”
Foreign buyers
Annelou also makes sure the foals sold abroad arrive at their destination securely. “For example, I check which transport company is available and whether the foal needs to fly. If needed, I can also arrange the quarantine and handle the NVWA (Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority) procedures. I can provide assistance throughout the entire process when needed.”
Live experience
The foal auction on Friday September 15 is freely accessible. Due to limited parking availability, it is necessary to purchase a parking ticket via the ticket shop prior to the event. “Order your parking ticket in time, because we may sell out.
