STRONG COLLECTION OF DRESSAGE FOALS IN ELITE AUCTION

Elite Foal Auction Borculo goes all out this year. On Friday the 15th of September they organise a live auction at the scenic venue of the Soestdijk Palace. The quality of the foals is equally promising. Nol Gerritsen and Wouter Plaizier selected 48 top foals for the elite auction. The collection can be viewed online.
Elite Foal Auction Borculo is widely regarded at one of the most prestigious foal auctions in the Netherlands. All over the globe, Borculo foals are making a name for themselves in sports. The selection committee again succeeded in selecting the finest foals for the auction. “A Borculo foal must move well, boast a correct conformation and be well-bred in both the paternal and maternal lineage. We furthermore looking for sports accomplishments in the damline”, shares Wouter Plaizier. “We have a fantastic collection this year, I am very pleased with it. Each foal is interesting and bred from a successful performance lineage. In terms of sires, we have a lot of genetic diversity as well. During the video days I received a lot of enthusiastic responses from breeders and buyers.”
Sibling of an approved stallion
Anyone with a long-cherished dram of acquiring a sibling of an approved stallion, has come to the right place at Elite Foal Auction Borculo. “The KWPN-approved stallion Next Romancier is the half-brother Top Notch (Total McLaren x San Amour). Another eye-catcher in the collection is the superb mover Topaas (Dutch Dream x Tango). His granddam Zwingly (s.Clint Eastwood) already produced two international dressage horses.

We also encounter an offspring of O’Toto van de Wimphof, the vice-champion of the KWPN Performance Test last year. This stunning colt (ds.Vivaldi) is a grandson of the prestatie mare Ralucienne (s.Havidoff). She produced the international Gran Prix horse Zaluur and the KWPN-approved stallions Davino V.O.D. and UB40 also originate from this damline. The colt Tivoli L.E. (Dream Boy x Charmeur) is also one of the highlights of this collection. His dam Imala L.E. became champion of the Central Inspection of North-Brabant and placed fourth at the National Mare Championship. This damline produced many sport horses, such as the KWPN-approved Grand Prix stallion Invershin and the Small Tour horse Jakarta.

“The filly by For Ferrero x Jazz is another interesting foal.” This Tres Jolie Hurona is an offspring of the elite sport mare Hurona. Granddam Vurona (s.Negro) produced two approved stallions: Blue Hors First Choice and High Five U.S., as well as three mares that perform at Z-level or higher. “Talida (Extreme U.S. x Franklin) was also bred from an acclaimed damline that features Small Tour horses Herida and Jinx and the international Intermediaire I horse Kyro.”
