Today, Foal Auction Borculo launches the collection of the 2020 Elite auction. With 77 top foals and 3 highly interesting embryos it is an exhaustive list.
Wow-factor
The dressage committee, comprising Nol Gerritsen and Wouter Plaizier, set out to find foals with the wow-factor. They found them in offspring of, among others, Kjento, Le Formidable, Fürst Jazz, Blue Hors Farell and Totilas. Several weeks before the publication of the collection, Pascoe (Le Formidable out of Edalien by Wynton) already went viral, his sensational movements reaching all parts of the globe.
Another sensation is Paisible, a son of Kjento out of H. Novorette (by Krack C). He is bred out of the direct lineage of Don Juan de Hus and is one of the top talents in the auction. In addition, the committee secured offspring of Totilas, Ferdaux, Vivaldi and Secret. The dressage committee: “The entire collection is defined by correct conformations and sensational movements. Not only the sires were of great importance to us, the dams also played a major role in the selection. After all, everything is genetic.”
Remarkable breeding
Floris van Leuken and Pieter Jan Berkers were on a quest for the best jumper foals for the auction and brought back an ensemble of intriguing genes. The jumper committee: “The damline is our main priority, but also conformation is very important. Buyers must be able to blindly trust that they buy a correct foal at Foal Auction Borculo. The foals must have an uphill build and a good topline, the canter is powerful, flowing and with an abundant ability to collect and extent. ''
Offspring of All Star, Casall ASK, Cornet Obolensky, For Pleasure and Dominator Z adorn the list of selected foals. Pepin, a son of Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof (ds.Corland) is a brother to the 1.60m GP-horses C. Hunter of Lucas Porter and Narazo de Nyz Z of Derim Demirsoy. Furthermore, both dam Absie and the granddam jumped at 1.50-1.60m level. In addition, the committee was able to procure a descendant of the renowned Van ‘t Roosakker lineage. Grandusha Key Z (by Grandorado TN) comes from the lineage of Usha van ‘t Roosakker.
Embryo collection
For the first time, Foal Auction Borculo auctions three embryos. Chacco Bue is making an impact as a sire and for that reason, there are two Chacco Blue-embryos for sale. Both embryos come out of mares that feature a lot of sport in their lineage. Granddams Pristanna and Elien both performed at the highest level. For dressage enthusiasts, we have an embryo by Jameson RS2 out of Eva Lynn. In turn, a daughter of the legendary Annabel. Dam of Bretton Woods and Chagall D&R.
Dutch soil
For many years, Foal Auction Borculo has been one of the most prestigious foal auctions of the Netherlands. Borculo-foals find their way in (top) sport all over the world. Only a select few stallions have had multiple foals selected, a strong damline with lots of sport prevails. The best of Dutch soil is for sale at Foal Auction Borculo.
