FUTURE SPORT HORSES AND STALLION PROSPECTS FOR SALE AT FOAL AUCTION BORCULO

The Early Summer auction is a first for Foal Auction Borculo. It is the first time that an early foal auction takes place. “We have supply and demand, reason enough to organise an auction”, says organiser Annelou de Man. The collection of 18 dressage and jumper foals and 3 embryos will go under the hammer on Thursday, June 3rd. Browse the collection here.
Champions
Nol Gerritsen and Wouter Plaizier are responsible for the selection of the dressage foals. They came back with foals with outstanding moves and interesting pedigrees that also have an alluring presence. In filly Raya L.E., champions are joining forces. Sire Fontaine TN keeps on impressing with his offspring and more than lives up to the expectations as breeding and sports stallion. Dam Imala L.E. is another familiar name. She was crowned champion of the Central Inspections of North Brabant and obtained the 4th place in the prestigious final of the 2016 National Mare Championships. Fontaine TN has two irons in the fire, when Rolex (ds. Governor) starts moving he also shows he takes after his sire.
Bidding duel on repeat?
Last year, Pascoe (s.Le Formidable) stirred up an incredible bidding duel that drew worldwide attention. This year, another Le Formidable offspring is included in the collection; Rhomealinja (ds.Contango) is an enchanting daughter of the champion stallion. Racoon also has a mouthwatering pedigree. As a son of Sir Donnerhall out of a Vivaldi dam and out of the breeding of Huub van Helvoirt, expectations are high.
Young stallions
The selection duo also gave some young stallions a chance. And thus we have a very complete filly by Fynch Hatton (Ranamiek ds.Chagall D&R), a wonderfully modelled Lord Romantic-son (Rens-L ds.Apache) and a colt by McLaren (Ricciardo LC ds.Vivaldi).
Genes for the future
Floris van Leuken and Pieter-Jan Berkers selected jumper foals that they have high hopes for. It’s all about sport in the pedigree and prominent sires. The desired Chacco Blue blood can be found in the appealing Rush VDA (ds.Heartbreaker). In the damline we see several 1.40m, 1.50m and 1.60m horses. Comme Il Faut-son Russel (ds.Numero Uno) is one to watch. He has a striking appearance and his granddam Utravola (s.Baloubet du Rouet) has produced multiple 1.60m level horses, such as Carbani (s.Carolus II) of Ali Rahmati and Mr Fuchs (s.Mr Blue) of Marco Kutscher.
Big names
Recently, Grandorado once again made his own advertising by a magnificent debut in the 5* at Indoor Brabant. In Galant van de Reeberg Z, the stallion is paired with the blood of Cicero Z van Paemel and Cash. The same lineage produced Elrado of Rowen van de Mheen and the 1.60m horse Gylord of Jan Setina. Talking about pedigrees that are jam-packed with sports, this collection’s embryos come to mind. Genes of the world’s giants such as Emerald, For Pleasure and Chacco Blue are offered for sale.
